Rising Star Day Care Center provides educational and child development programs. They aim to empower children to become independent adults who embrace life by encouraging students to become part of the community while exploring their talents.

Programs seeking Texas Rising Star certification require highly qualified educators. HiMama makes documenting and adhering to quality guidelines quick and straightforward so educators can spend more time working directly with children.

Childcare

Childcare is an invaluable service that allows working parents to care for their children, provide financial stability, and live an enriching life. However, there are some concerns related to childcare that must be addressed, specifically safety and learning and development. Several tools exist to assist childcare programs in meeting quality standards, such as the Texas Early Childhood Professional Development System and Texas Trainer Registry, which offer low-cost training that can count toward professional development hours for early childhood teachers.

Childcare programs can also enhance quality by participating in shared services alliances. These partnerships involve collaborations between public pre-K programs and one or more quality-rated childcare providers and may result in additional funding or support for staffing or pedagogical problems within these programs.

Child care programs can utilize the Texas Child Care Availability Portal to locate high-quality options in their community and view information regarding health and safety inspections and histories for each program. Available in English, Spanish, and Tieng Viet, it also can help parents understand what it means for a program to be certified as Texas Rising Star and provides access to family resources.

Their preschool services are grounded in the Frog Street Curriculum. This play-based learning program helps children develop in all five developmental domains: language, cognitive development, physical fitness and health, social-emotional learning, and creativity. In addition, this curriculum also fosters emerging literacy skills while creating a solid foundation for future learning experiences.

This family-owned and operated center provides high-quality care for children in an atmosphere welcoming to all families. Their staff strives to build an enriching community for the children, parents, teachers, and themselves while offering clean, safe surroundings and educational activities to further the children’s growth.

Summer Camp

Rising Star provides children with daily educational activities and weekly field trips to experience new things that enrich academic studies, physical fitness, social recreation opportunities, arts and cultural activities, and career readiness activities. Furthermore, Rising Star offers tutoring services to qualifying free and reduced lunch students; tutors create individual learning plans and track student progress closely – often working together over the years for maximum impact in developing confidence as learners.

Children enjoy engaging in academic, recreational, and outdoor activities during the summer holidays that foster self-worth, communication skills, thinking abilities and literacy skills, arts & culture knowledge, creativity & problem-solving abilities.
