Little Explorers Learning Center

Little Explorers Learning Center is a licensed center-child care program serving children ages 2.5-6 years. Offering child care, preschool preparation, and more. Adhering to a Montessori-inspired educational approach.

Non-school daycare runs Monday-Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm and requires at least 24 hours’ notice if any scheduling changes need to be made.

Child-Centered Learning

Socialization

Friendships between children are essential to their emotional growth. Language Development

Little Explorers provides children with play-based learning to foster creativity and expand vocabulary development – two vital aspects of early childhood development that help lay a strong foundation for later learning.

Handwriting Without Tears curriculum at the school helps children learn to write effectively. This approach emphasizes developing fine and gross motor skills essential for writing while simultaneously building critical pre-reading abilities.

The academy provides flexible scheduling options tailored to the needs of parents. Furthermore, they follow stringent safety protocols in an encouraging and nurturing environment that fosters children’s growth and development.

Physical Development

Small class sizes enable teachers to devote more attention and care to each child in the class, creating personalized schedules tailored specifically for each baby to ensure all their needs are met in a safe and nurturing environment.

Children with allergies or special dietary requirements will be provided with food that best meets their needs; this will be discussed with their parents at Little Explorers Nursery upon induction.

All staff members will be encouraged to raise an informal grievance at least once, and grievances will be handled fairly and equitably.

Music & Movement

Our curriculum features music and games designed to foster mental and physical development and children’s yoga as part of the program to find a safe connection between breath, mind, and body.

Students experience what it means to belong to a community of learners. They practice sitting on the carpet during meetings and staying seated at snack time – skills that prepare them for preschool classroom routines.

A dedicated educator leads each classroom with their method of teaching and learning. Our teachers enjoy working with young children and know how to make learning enjoyable!

Art & Crafts

Arts & crafts offer children an avenue for self-expression through creativity, and Little Explorers Learning Academy has an assortment of arts & crafts activities designed to encourage them to express themselves creatively. Their methods for teaching letter recognition and sounds include funny stories with repeated letters or games where children search for the needed notes.

Owen began teaching at Little Explorers School in 2023 and strongly believes in the transformative powers of creativity for student development. His welcoming and encouraging character provides an atmosphere where his pupils can explore artistic endeavors to help shape who they are as individuals and discover themselves along the way.

Indoor & Outdoor Activities

Little Explorers school students discover and learn through experiential exploration and play. Each week, the school provides learning activities focused on specific themes, such as STEM activities, nature explorations, sports & games activities, art projects, and even more!

Our school is in a single-family home and features several age-appropriate areas for students to explore, such as a dramatic play area, a science room featuring fun light tables, and a clay workspace. Each classroom boasts a theme that helps foster children’s interests and imaginations.

Children at school also enjoy handling and caring for animals, providing an exciting new experience and aiding cognitive development.

Safety

This daycare operates under stringent safety protocols to protect children at all times. Their nurturing environment offers children a place to learn and grow, while the convenient location makes it simple for parents to drop off and collect their kids.
